Abstract

Efektifitas Teknik Distraksi : Bercerita Terhadap Respon Nyeri Anak Prasekolah Saat Pemasangan Infus di Ruang Perawatan Anak Rumah Sakit X XII + 48 halaman, 8 tabel, 1 skema, 10 lampiran ABSTRAK Prasekolah merupakan usia rentan dimana anak sering mengalami sakit. Prasekolah dirawat di rumah sakit akan mengalami tindakan menyakitkan seperti pemasangan infus. Reaksi prasekolah yang dipasang infus menunjukkan ketakutan luar biasa, hal tersebut dikarenakan konsep integritas tubuhnya belum berkembang baik. Salah satu cara mengurangi ketakutan akibat nyeri pemasangan infus adalah teknik distraksi bercerita. Tujuan penelitian adalah teridentifikasi perbedaan skala nyeri antara kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasy eksperimen, menggunakan kelompok intervensi dan kontrol, dilakukan dari September – Desember 2017 dengan jumlah responden 46 orang terdiri dari 34 kelompok intervensi (75%) dan 12 kelompok kontrol (25%). Hasil uji Independent T test P = 0,012 (< 0,05) artinya ada perbedaan respon nyeri antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Diharapkan perawat menggunakan teknik distraksi bercerita untuk mengurangi nyeri saat pemasangan infus terhadap prasekolah. Preschool hospitalized will experince painfull actions such as infusion. An infusion preschool infusion reaction shows incredible fears, it’s because the concep of body integrity has not developed well. The way to reduce the fear of infusion pain is the technique of telling distraction. The purpose of this study was to know the differences in the pain scale of intervention and control group. Quantitatif research using quasy experimental method, using intervention and control group, conducted from September to December 2017 with 48 respondents consisting of 34 intervention group (75%) and 12 control group (25%). Independent T test P = 0,012 (< 0,05) means there is difference of pain response intervention and control group. Nurses should use distraction story-telling techniques to reduce pain during infusion of preschool age.
