Abstract

Efektifitas Kompres Tepid Sponge dalam Perubahan Suhu Tubuh pada Pasien Dengan Demam di Ruang rawat Inap RS X Bekasi. xv + 85 halaman, 12 tabel, 3 skema, 16 lampiran ABSTRAK Demam adalah respon fisiologis tubuh terhadap penyakit yang ditandai peningkatan suhu tubuh diatas normal. Di RS X Bekasi sendiri mulai bulan april sampai dengan juni 2017, pasien rawat inap dengan manifestasi demam mencapai 239 kasus. Kompres Tepid Sponge merupakan salah satu intervensi untuk menurunkan suhu tubuh, yaitu metode kompres vena besar dengan seka yang dilakukan dibeberapa area tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas kompres Tepid Sponge terhadap perubahan suhu tubuh pada pasien demam. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperimen dengan Two Group Pre dan Post Test. Menggunakan instrumen termometer aksila, termometer air, lembar observasi. Teknik sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Purposive sampling, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 42 responden. Karakteristik responden berdasarkan usia, sebanyak 38,1% responden berusia antara 13 - 20 tahun, dan 54,7% adalah responden dengan jenis kelamin perempuan. Hasil analisa menggunakan uji pariet-t test didapat p-value (0,000 < 0,05) yang bermakna bahwa kompres tepid sponge efektif terhadap penurunan suhu tubuh. Hasil uji Independent-t test, didapat p-value (0,02 < 0,05), yang berarti menunjukan adanya perbandingan keefektifan yang signifikan antara kompres tepid sponge dan kompres konvensional terhadap penurunan suhu tubuh pada pasien dengan demam. Diharapkan tepid sponge dapat dijadikan sebagai intervensi keperawatan untuk menurunkan suhu pada penderita demam. Kata kunci: Demam, Suhu Tubuh, Kompres Tepid Sponge. Daftar Pustaka : 27 (2004-2017). ABSTRACT Fever is physiologi response of human body toward virus / bacteria, signed by the rise of body temperature above the normal range. Since April to June 2017, X Hospital of Bekasi has 239 cases of fever. Compress method is one of intervension to decrease body temperature, which is using tepid sponge compress therapy to some parts of human body. The puspose of the research is to find out the effect of tepid sponge compress toward decreasing body temperature of the patient. The design of the research is using quasy experiment yo find out the effect of the experiment. The researcher is using two groups pre test and post test. The instruments are acsile and water termometer, observation sheet. The number of the samples are 42 respondents, using purposive sampling technique. Characteristic of respondent as much as 38,1% of respondent aged between 13 -20 years, and 54,7 % of respondent with female gender. The analysis used pariet-t test and shows p-value (0,000 < 0,05) means that it is effective towards decreasing human body temperature. The result is shown that independent-t test, p-value (0,027 < 0,05), it means that there is significant comparison betwen tepid sponge and convensional compress toward decreasing body temperature of the paitens.
